Things to do, places to see

From the lovely village of Lulworth you can visit many other coves and beaches on foot, including the beach alongside the famous arch at Durdle Door, Man o’War Bay, and past the Fossil Forest towards lovely Mupe Bay. The area is superb for walking, swimming, boating and diving. There are also many visitor attractions within a short drive, such as to nearby Lulworth Castle, Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Corfe Castle, the romantic deserted village of Tyneham, Kimmeridge Bay, the Abbotsbury Swannery, and  Maiden Castle. And of course the wonderful beaches at Studland and Weymouth are just a little further afield.
